What is “Flush disk cache before creating a new snapshot.”

When Safecode Defencecure takes a new snapshot of the system, it’s snapshotting the hard disk’s content.

When Windows is running, some hard disk content is temporarily loaded in the memory, RAM.

To make sure the new snapshot contains everything on the hard disk, we need to flush the cache in the RAM into the disk before taking the snapshot.

This setting utilizes Windows Volume Shadow Services (VSS) to flush the memory cache and pagefile content and commit it into the hard disk before taking the new snapshot.
