After restoring a drive clone image to a hard drive that had Safecode Defencecure installed, the system won’t boot up.

Problem
Safecode Defencecure pre-OS Recovery Console boot loader is still in the computer’s MBR.

Solution
To remove Safecode Defencecure pre-OS Recovery Console boot loader from the MBR.
Reset the computer’s MBR from a Windows setup CD.
The computer should boot up after refreshing the MBR.

Remember to uninstall Safecode Defencecure before restoring from a backup image.
